YUKI Handroll Bar

"Got overhyped possibly for this one, we left disappointed by the quality. It was good but we were expecting more for the high price they are setting themselves for. The scallop handroll, barely had any scallop and they were chopped. So really couldn't tell the difference between mayo rice or scallop bits. The toro and chu toro hand roll were also quite disappointing in the consistency. One had nearly half the amount of fish than the other... The sweet shrimp was the but one of the shrimp was borderline mushy, which makes me question the freshness. Salmon Belly roll and Madai were the worse in term of fish/rice ratio. Yuzu cheese cake barely had yuzu flavor."

"This place is unbelievable. You wouldn’t expect it to be so good. It’s like a chefs table style restaurant. The quality is top notch on par with the other expensive sushi places in town. The atmosphere is very relaxed and casual and the sushi is served to order directly to you so it is as fresh as can be. The rice and the nori are both excellent. I was very pleasantly surprised."
