Hula Hut

"Hula Hut is in Austin favorite for us. This is a great place to sit right on the lake and have some great Mexican food. They make the tortillas right there which is really cool to watch. This is another great place to take people who are not from Austin to kind of get a sense of the cool Vibes that we have here. I love that you can sit outside right on the lake and that people pull their boats right up too. Definitely a must visit if you haven't been there before!"

"This restaurant has been one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in Austin for over a decade. The view is beautiful and visitors from out of town always enjoy this spot. There is a long wait during peak hours but it’s worth it. Their stuffed avocado and coconut shrimp are our family favorite. They also have good options for vegetarians and kids."

"Hula Hut is a great spot for lunch or dinner. Beautiful location, right on the water. Service was great, had a very knowledgeable waiter and helpful staff. The food was spot on, really tasty. I tried the shrimp flautas with chili sauce and the shrimp enchilada and both were delicious. Nice size portions as well. I would recommend this spot if you're in the area."

"hula hut is a great option for a fun and delicious meal on the river. the seating options are great and give you a fun experience as you look out on the water. the food was very tasty with generous portions. with all that being said, the atmosphere gets doused a little with how crazy busy it is and just how packed in we felt. also our server had to tell multiple people to see the hosts for seating which got old. would go again, just maybe when it isn’t so busy or in a less congested seating area."

"Great food on the lake with a resort like atmosphere. We had the coconut shrimp. Chips and cheese dip queso. Fried stuffed Avocado a long with a delicious Bloody Mary. I like to bring friends,family and clients to relax and enjoy the sunset on the lake."
