"I cannot imagine the bad reviews on here! I bought a washer and dryer for 300 bucks and got it delivered and installed for free. The washer had some slight issues at first (it was a 300 dollar set) but The Appliance Mechanics did not even hesitate to send a repair man to my house and fix it. No hassle at all, the warranty gets honored here folks! I know that with the delivery/installation/ and repairs they likely made no money off of this, but they pretty much guaranteed that me and my people buy their appliances from now on. It is a good feeling to know that if something goes wrong (it is used appliances folks, if you want perfect go overpay somewhere else) they fix the problem."
"DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!! Listen to the other reviews. We had our washer for about 6 months, it was fine. Erica was the sweetest lady in the world at first. We were told all about the warranty, pick up procedure, and trade in which appealed to us as renters. She told us that when we don’t want our unit, we can sell it back to them for half price back or trade it in for another appliance. We opted for the selling it back and tried to when our lease ended. We called 5 days ago (Saturday) to get the washer picked up. We were told that someone would be out Sunday. On Sunday, we waited. We were told a driver was on the way so we waited over an hour and Erica ghosted all of our texts. Monday, we were told that someone would be there 100%. This is the last time Erica ever got in contact with us. No one ever came. I called today (Wednesday) and Erica picked up (different number than we’ve been using). She told me there’s a driver in the area and will call me back. After 20 minutes, nothing. I called and got nothing. No response to texts either. It’s been hours now and nothing from Erica. Go somewhere else. The “company” seems great at first but it’s all smoke and mirrors. Once they take your money they ignore every promise initially made."
"This place is a rip off I've never been a hater so listen people the first day I bought a washer and dryer . The washer shook my whole daughter room wall rhats next door to laundry room. The dryer never worke, owner refused to replace items for different onces, told me her lazy worker said my dryer vent is clogged well bought a brand new dryer works just great. She a lair and cant be trusted at all don't shop here."
"BEWARE company is a scam....and when /if Erika gets into real estate as she said she wanted....I would stay away from her then too. Very friendly upon meeting, bought washer/ dryer set from her....came home and soon as I tried to dry some clothes the dryer was so loud it sounded like a washing machine that was over loaded. We had scheduled for maintenance to come out as it came with a 6 month warranty, they called to confirm time but never showed up and she never answered the phone or returned mine or my husband's calls again. Fast forward a couple weeks, and now my washer stopped working too and when I tried to call, her phone number is no longer in service...shocker!! Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money for a reputable company."
"Never again. Too many problems with nearly each item she sells you. She also double charged me for a stackable washer/dryer that did not work (first item I bought) and then complained that my husband caused a chargeback instead of waiting for her refund. He doesnt double pay for anything and they should have never double charged for the 400 item anyway. When they go to work on the broken appliance (within a couple weeks of its purchase), they just might charge you for it again. Then she ignored complaints of a stove that I sent her pics of as soon as the door fell off (the first time I touched it) for 10 days because they are hoping you work on it yourself, which we tried to do actually because she is so slow to return and almost never responds to texts once your item is paid for and delivered. I have texts with pictures of the stove and screenshots of her reply that she will "take care of it" and then texts 10 days later when she Is accusing me of breaking the stove door. There were no tenants in the house but that's what she does. When it didn't work in a house with tenants she blamed the tenants and said they were lying. When I was in another rental home before tenants moved in and she delivered a fridge she told me not to plug in the fridge because "it needed to settle after its transport." Well of course I wanted to know if it worked and my husband noticed they had tried it before we arrived anyway as it was cool inside, so we plugged it in and it made such a loud noise you could hear it in the next room. She blamed me because I plugged it in. I ended up ordering new appliances for that tenant but erica charged me $99 to pick up, and transport a fridge (the replacement for the loud one) and stove (she claimed the stove worked and tenants were lying), but once we saw the stove and opened the door we understood why the tenants were saying all Erica's appliances were "garbage." Erica is hoping the appliances just last 3 months because after that you will pay for them coming out and fixing the appliance. It's not the 6 month warranty she tells you it it but maybe you wont read it and find out. It is however, our experience it breaks well before the 3 months which is when she starts ignoring your texts and you may have to threaten to show up at the store like I did, which is when she will answer. I have all the texts. Fair warning. Once you look at the whole picture it's definitely not cheaper and not worth the hassle."
