"My husband and I have been here quite a few times and everything is very very delicious. Some of my favorites are the Misal pav, which is like Maharashtrian and Puna style and the Dabeli. The owners are really nice and the service was great too!"
"Food is not that good. Even green Chilli or one Chutney, charge extra. I said can you add more onion and not butter, he was like it’s custom order, $1 extra. And again, green chutney is with color and only water. :( Very bad attitude of owner. Surprised to see how this business runs. Don’t recommend this place. Update 01/09: I am updating this after owner put reply on my review. I’m not a dump person who doesn’t know sales tax. lol This sales tax part is what he made as story to reply. I came here second time. That’s it. First time I didn’t write since I thought they are senior citizens let me ignore their behavior. She is good some what. He is very bad guy. Owner attitude is one of the worst ever you could imagine. Please don’t go here if you respect yourself. The quality is one of the worst in Houston. Again, if you self respect yourself this is not the place to go and eat. Highly unprofessional and not recommended at all. PS: He tried to reach me out over phone and asked to remove google review. I am NOT going to remove it. Thanks"
"So this place is an authentic bumbaiyya (Slang for Mumbai) street food place. Everything from Vada Pav to Samosas to Pav Bhaji!! Everything here has local Mumbai style flavors. Sorry, not to offend any local cuisine but this place is not typical Gujarati style/flavors (sweetish) fast food joint. I repeat, it has authentic Mumbai style flavors. You will definitely enjoy this place but just keep in mind, the operational hours are limited so plan accordingly!! The staff is really friendly too."
"I was looking for some Desi street food on Uber Eats. This restaurant has no Uber Eats review and yet I decided to give it a try (my fault) I paid $8.99 for the portion that was a side portion for the main dish. Trust me peas and potatoes are not that expensive. I ordered ragda pattice. Ragda was tasteless and patties were the side of flattened donut holes. on top there was a drizzle of sweet chutney and sprinkle of sev. What a mockery! I would’ve paid couple bucks more and gotten a whole platter of chicken over rice and a full size appetizer from a restaurant. I got on google to read the reviews and oh my my! Only if the portion size were as large as the owner’s response to some of these negative reviews. Not to forget it tasted like eating boiled peas with salt and turmeric. Lesson learned. I shall not be ordering from this place and I will NOT recommend this place."
"Still the same service but not in a mobile truck anymore. Can't believe it's been 4 years since they set up shop here & we haven't been back at least for that long. Good outdoor seating. Spice levels are still the same. If you want to enjoy it, choose mild. You want to struggle with your tongue on fire, choose medium. You want to lose your head, order spicy."
