"Food was good, not over seasoned/salted like many places. Cooked just right. Price was great and service was excellent. We showed up just before lunch rush on a Saturday and had food in minutes. I also appreciated that the music wasn't too loud for conversation."
"We ordered a family sized meal that included salad, catfish, shrimp, french fries and hush puppies. Tons for food for a reasonable price. Our waitress was new but very nice and checked on us often. She was confused on the sides which they charged us for extra sides... I explained to the person checking us out which I believe was the manager but they just said they would talk to her. They did not remove the extra charge. I normally would have pushed the point but we had our grandson with us so I just paid it. Anyway, the food was really good and the waitress was good so I kept it at 4 stars. The manager/owner gets 1 star."
"A good place to stop and eat of your hungry in Hempstead, TX. Food was pretty good. I’d recommend the seafood first over anything else. The appetizers are pretty good too. It has very soothing atmosphere and the staff is extremely friendly. I like the prices too."
