"The breakfast was not at all what I thought it would be. If you’re looking for food line mom use to make don’t come. I’ve heard good reviews but maybe we should’ve come during lunch instead. I feel like it was…meh. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t something I would recommend to any one. For sure didn’t leave here satisfied about much of anything. Staff was kind of on autopilot, just going thru the motions. Not at all what I’m use to going to a “Mexican” restaurant. We MIGHT give lunch/dinner a try in some months…MAYBE."
"I have been coming here for 25 years now and I never get tired of it. You can't go wrong with everything on the menu being delicious. I prefer their famous enchiladas. The margaritas are good too. The prices are fair and service is great. I highly recommend it."
"Overall food is good. Disappointed in the “guacamole” salad as it was just creamy avocado - no jalapeños, tomatoes, onion, cilantro, garlic, or lime. Very bland. However, the gravy on the beef enchiladas and beef burritos was amazing would order again just no guacamole."
"Always good food at fair prices. It's an older restaurant in the poorer side of Richmond but that's what gives it some charm. I've been eating here for 25 years. Always consistent. The staff is always friendly and even when we have 15+ people, the food and drinks come out fast."
"First time here. We drove by and though we would try it out. Best decision ever. Came on a Monday around 5 and had plenty of open tables, around 6 it did start to get quite busy. Service was amazing and the food was phenomenal! We will definitely be back. Love the atmosphere! Monday they have a special for $3 margaritas from 2pm to close. They are worth it!"
