"Fried Pork chops are delicious. Sides are all good especially the greens, Gumbo is good but the cornbread it comes with is best I’ve ever had. Portions are very fair vs. price . Great value for a home cooked meal."

"First time visitor! Right off the jump, they need to lose the styrofoam bowls and the aluminum foil to cover. I lost most of the juice in my food in the bag. All containers should be like the gumbo container, WITH A LID! Secondly, it’s located in a gas station, so expectations were not high. I ordered the Gumbo (chicken, sausage, rice), it wasn’t spicy and the roux was a little watery to me. I also had the Dirty Rice, it was moist just like I like it and the best of what I ordered. I also ordered the Cajun Corn which was not bad and had some cajun flavor to it. Finally, I tried the Red Beans and Rice, it was just okay. The price points are pretty good. I don’t think anything is prepared on-site with the exception of items that need to go in a deep fryer. If it has “Cajun” in the title, it’s probably going to be spicy. It’s a Black Owned Business so I’ll likely go back and try some other stuff."
