"A B.O.B, Review Coming, First Time Visitor. Two people, one had a seafood food truck. The other had a brick and mortar BBQ Restaurant. They decided to join forces and have been open for 5 months. She is from Louisiana and runs the seafood side, he’s from Arkansas and rollins the BBQ side. I tried the 2 Meat BBQ plate with sausage, brisket, potato salad and beans for $16.00. I didn’t taste any smoke flavor with the brisket, so not sure how it was cooked. However it was tender, but I had to put BBQ Sauce on it, it wasn’t fatty or greasy which is good. The sausage did have a smoke flavor and a little bit of spice to it. VERY GOOD, but be prepared for the kick! The beans were sweet but not baked beans sweet and the potato salad wasn’t potato soup meaning you could tell there are potato’s in it. Both were good IMO. I got 2 slices of bread, pickles and onions. The BBQ was kinda sweet but not too sweet. They have Gumbo on Saturdays, so I will be back to try the seafood side of the operation. "A&D BBQ and Seafood Kitchen located off 1604 in Converse Texas hit the spot today! My husband and I always drive by and hesitate on trying the food but it seems to be a hidden gem looked over because it's connected to a Valero gas station. I'll definitely be coming back. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The food superb. 2 meat plate with 2 sides. 18$.. pork ribs, brisket, baked beans and potato salad. Can't go wrong with this one."
