Bubba's 33

"Came here for my birthday on the first of March. I always have a good experience here. My server's name was Dasia. She handled my insane family well. The apple pie mule was delicious. Stir it up well, though, because it gets really sweet at the end. My sister and I got the fish frys. Amazing. My niece got the steak that was delicious. My nephew and brother got the Philly cheese steaks, which were flavorful. My brothers bun was a little well done, though. The only other minor issue was the Buffalo sauce. It was really weird. It's one of those sauces where you can not tell if you like it or hate it. Other than that. Happy with the experience and will come back."

"While we were in San Antonio for some touristy stuff we wanted to eat near where we stayed. My husband jumped on the internet and chose Bubba’s 33. It was clear the restaurant is new. The building, grounds and parking lot are all good sized. Loved the atmosphere from the moment we walked in! In the small entry way there’s a bench made from the rear end of a classic Ford Mustang that makes for a fun photo op, IF the bench is available (it wasn’t when we walked in). Military/sports/music themed restaurant/bar would be the best way for me to describe the establishment. Loads of TVs for watching old music videos, sport events and a screen playing a rotation of military men & women to honor their service. Our server was a very friendly young lady. Actually, all the staff was friendly from the moment we arrived. The food was above average and there was lots of variety. We wanted a variety and we were sharing so we had a Crispy Fried Pickle appetizer and we split a large Meaty Meaty Pizza and Chicken & Bacon Mac N Cheese. The fried pickles were tasty and had a little bit of spice in the breading. It came with 2 dipping sauces: ranch dressing and Bubba Sauce. I’m not really certain what Bubba Sauce is but I would describe it as Mayo based, slightly sweet and a little bit of spice. The pizza had a regular crust with a sweet pizza sauce. The Mac and cheese was very good and the focaccia bread that came with it was nummy, too. Overall, our experience was enjoyable!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed Bubbas. The greeting at the door to being seated at the the bar was a great experience. Also the bartender…wish I would have gotten her name. Such a sweetheart. She really took care of me…hooked me up with an incredible margarita, which if you know me that’s my Number 1 drink. She made that drink very well balanced and just delicious. I’m so pleased with the food as well. I ended up getting a burger and it was great. The only thing I think about it could be done diff is having whole tomatoes on the burger I has a chopped tomato thing going on but it still was tomato so hey can you really say too much. I say go check this place out. The food it made from scratch their in house. I enjoy this place even tho it’s a chain restaurant. Give it a try and this Bubbas has the Jams and Tunes in rocking. I’m talking Tina Marie, Prince, Diana Ross, Usher, Hall and Oates. Go for a late night drink on a TH. It’s worth it."

"Came in at the last hour Welcomed my family right in Great waitress. She kept checking on us for any other requests Clean rr Burgers are massive, husband enjoyed it Wings are well cooked Pizza was also delicious"

"We asked for a booth not in the bar and was told it would be about 10min, but then it became another 10-15 min because they were waiting for wait staff to show up, 1 hour and 10 minutes later we were seated. We like the food but not sure we will go back with such poor service and no apology or compensation for such poor service. The management needs to get its act together."
