"Comparing to round rock location, personally this one is better because they don’t use paper bowl. It made the food more appetizing. The taste of the food is ok. It’s a good spot for a quick meal. The people work there are nice, the dining area is clean."
"Exceptionally mid. And that’s not a bad thing. It’s like an Asian chipotle spot but slightly better. The coconut soup was fire though and for only $3 is the best deal I have seen in Austin. The rest of the food is average to below average. But fast and convenient"
"Its a good restuarant with great portions at reasonable prices. We ordered coconut soup and kung pau chicken bowl. Chicken bowl is great, coconut soup is ok. Friendly staff and quick. Must recommend."
"First time getting Fire Bowl Cafe, ordered veggie rolls, a Thai summer roll and Drunken noodle to go. Not my typical choice but it’s close to my work and I wanted something quick and nearby. Veggie rolls were ok (hard to mess up) and went to take a bit out of the spring roll. After the first bite I looked and saw a live bug crawling in the to go container where my spring roll was. I wasn’t sure if it came from inside the roll or was crawling around it. Safe to say I didn’t touch the rest of it after that. I wasn’t looking forward to the Drunken noodle after that but decided to give it a shot since I was hungry. I’ve had enough Thai food to know what Drunken noodle should taste like and the after the first bite I knew something was off. Almost like they left out the red chili and decided their own take on the sauce and it just doesn’t work. Plenty of better options in the area if you’re looking for good Thai or good Asian food in general, don’t waste your time and money like I did. 1/10 don’t recommend and probably won’t be back, giving service 3 stars since the food was ready on time and the cashier gave me a free drink when picking up my order."
"Rice vermicelli with spicy peanut sauce is always my favorite in Fire bowl cafe. Last time though I tried Lemon Basil sauce with lemon grass and I loved it too. My husband had the Spicy thai pepper sauce with chicken. I love how you can customize veggies, and the variety of choices they have for sauces and noodles. Really yummy too. Last but not least their Thai summer roll and veggie spring rolls are so delicious. I always get them. My husband loves the spring roll and I love their summer roll. It comes with. Side of peanut sauce. They also have vegetarian sauces and tofu option. Would definitely go back there."
