"Stopped in for lunch and just as I was getting ready to order I saw an order of pancakes go by. Can't remember the last time I had pancakes so I had to get an order- husband got the burger. So glad I made the switch- the pancakes were delicious. I did not get a pic cause they were just pancakes on a plate (I did not order a side) but did get a pic of the burger which he had and I tasted and was equally as fantastic. The fries and the sauce were also delish! Really glad we stopped in- will definitely go again. Nice indoor as well as outdoor seating options. Counter service and then they bring the food to your table. Everyone was very friendly."
"I often come here for brunch. The food is awesome. The bacon is buttery soft. And the sourdough bread and homemade jam are so good! The coffee options are also really great. Being part of the shopping center there is also always parking compared to some other local restaurants on the street. Only complaint is sometimes parts of orders get missed more than one would expect."
"The cheesy egg toast and ricotta toast were both so tasty. I prefer my scrambled eggs a little wetter, so I would probably get something else next time, but I will definitely be back. Great breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. We had biscuits with our toast, which I recommend, because I probably would have needed a little bit more if we hadn't. Everything hit the spot."
"I had the cheesy egg toast, a bowl of fruit, and a large cold brew with vanilla and macadamia milk. Everything tasted pretty good!! The eggs were nice and fluffy and the cold brew was delicious even though it settled a little while I waited in line to order (I was early and ordered just a coffee at first since I didn't know how long I'd wait and hold the table). I took the only table available. The place is pretty small so I'd arrive with a lot of time to find one because there are no reservations. The prices were reasonable and the sandwiches looked amazing for me to try next time! The fruit bowl was artfully presented although there were not a lot of fruits, I liked how much care was taken to slice the grapes and arrange the peach slices in the bowl. There are a lot of plants making the ambiance really pleasant for Sunday brunch. The little magnet wall was just a touch of Austin weird, I loved it! I also had a bite of my friend's pancake and with the chocolate chips it was really satisfying."
"Let's say it's a Sunday and you want to go to brunch in Austin. But everywhere is packed. You decide maybe to try out Spread & Co and when you drive up to them your heart drops. Cars. Cars everywhere. Oh great, you think, another packed brunch place. WRONG. I've been to Spread & Co I don't know how many times and I've always been able to get a table NO PROBLEM on Saturday and Sundays around brunch time. These cars are for people waiting over an hour for the Kirby Lane up the street. Seriously people are SLEEPING on this place! A hidden gem in a city full of hidden gems. The food has always been quick, BEAUTIFUL, tasty and original. And again, NO HOUR LONG WAITS. At least not the times that I've been. Pro tip: Ask what the daily specials are. And don't sleep on the seasonal lemonades."
