"I expected a lot better after reading the reviews. I got the meat combo platter. Pulled pork, brisket and sides. The food was acceptable, but pretty bland. I would come here for lunch if I lived or worked nearby, but would otherwise recommend finding somewhere else to go if you have a hankering for brisket."
"Haven't been here in at least 10 years; Today I decided to try something different for lunch than the go-to places every week. I've been to Bodacious many times and today I was the first one here. The two women working were very nice, the place still looks the same, and the food was just awesome. I had the brisket and ribs with Mac and cheese as sides. Awesome place, great food and people! "Not sure why Bodacious isn't more popular because the food is really good. The staff is friendly and helpful, the place has a nice dive feel to it. The brisket is terrific, not a lot of sides; Mac n cheese, baked beans, green beans, corn and potato salad but all are good."
