"I liked my food and drinks and because the place is more for Togo orders and I decided to dine in, I was able enjoy a good chat with the owner as I ate. I will be coming back to try the other pizzas. Price review: hotdog comes with original lays chips and was 4.99, two cans of IBC is like 6 dollars, the 10 inch deep dish Chicago supreme pizza was 17.99, and the beef sandwich was around 11 I think. This was for 2 people and we ordered more than what we normally would eat because we wanted to taste different things. Total price with a 15% tip came out to be 51 dollars. It would be very easy to get full off of 15 USD or under here I think."
"Visited the restaurant 3 days in a row. Best Pizza in my life. I purchased the Air Jordan & John Dillinger Specialty pizzas, Wings, Chicago Dogs, New York Cheesecake & IBC Root Beers on separate occasions. I was never disappointed. Hot, fresh ingredients, very cheesy & great tasting pizza crust. Loved it..."
"MUST TRY! Instagram recommended this place to me a few days ago and I decided to check them out. If you’ve ever had Chicago pizza from Chicago then you won’t be disappointed with this pizza. It was very very good. I ended up getting a 12 inch deep dish pizza with hamburger and mushrooms. It’s reasonably priced and the bigger the pizza, the more it will be. There really isn’t a dime in are inside, but outside there is a small table where you can dine."
"very good deep dish pizza. a positive experience for take away as there is not sufficient seating for any in-store dining. having said that don't be deterred pick up your pizza take it home and have a very good Chicago deep dish style pizza experience. also note the the wings are a standout very very good"
"They are very new and I hope they figure some things out. I’ve been waiting for months for them to open. I was really interested in their take on a Chicago thin crust. We tried the Chicago supreme and the Bears on the thin crust. We also tried the Greek salad and the Chicago fire deep dish. The salad was not a $13 salad. If it was $8.00 it would be on the verge of being over priced. The thin crust disappointed. Very little sauce and undercooked. The cheese wasn’t caramelized and the dough was chewy. It needed another few minutes in the oven. However the wait to pick it up was already 20 minutes past the scheduled time. It improved a little when I reheated it the next day and gave it a good bake. The deep dish had potential but I am not sure it is close to Chicago style. More like a pan pizza. Again the balance of sauce to ingredients was off. If you are looking for Lou’s, Genos or pequads in Texas…keep looking. I will go back to try their Italian beef and Chicago dogs. They have Vienna beef, which is the only one to use for a Chicago dog! However all their prices are elevated. 5.00 for a Chicago dog compared to under 4.00 at portillios. Their Italian beef starts at 10.00 while portillos is under 8.00. I know this is a smaller business but the pricing is consistently high for every item and that would be fine if the quality matched. They have some room for improvement and I will most likely try them a few more times down the road. Edit. I went back to try a few other items. Now I feel like I must apologize on their behalf to the city of Chicago. Hot dogs were not Vienna beef as advertised. I asked for the Italian beef dipped. They gave me a side of au jus (with no flavor). The Italian beef itself was everything a beef should not be. Very little flavor and dry chewy meat on a soft, chewy untoasted and undipped bun. The whole experience was disappointing. If they called themselves “ any-name pizza” it would be okay but to claim to be Chicago is an insult. They could have spent less than 1000 dollars to fly to Chicago and try the handful of dishes they are calling “Chicago style”. I am really disappointed as I had very high hopes for this place. Follow up; They asked for another chance as they said they “were still figuring things out” I waited three months. It’s gotten worse. I don’t know how anyone can screw up pizza dough like this. It was obviously from frozen and disgusting. Chicago thin is crunchy. I’ve had gum less chewy. Ordered online and went to pick up at estimated time. When I arrived at that time, there was only one guy working and he told me it would be to me it would be another ten minutes. 20 minutes later I got the small pizza and I wish I never had those calories. I love Chicago pizza, It pains me to say that going next door to Joes NY pizza is a better option."
