Las Palapas - Boerne

"Those any flavor frozen margaritas are so addictive and the chicken enchiladas, well, well, I always get doble plate."

"The young lady who waited on us was sweet, friendly and very attentive. The busboy was equally as friendly and had a great smile. I wish I could give positive remarks about the food and overall atmosphere. First time diners, we approached the entrance door and my first reaction when we opened the door is "What is this...a fast food place?" We had to laugh once we were in the restaurant because they have a sign saying they are not a fast food restaurant. The food was mediocre, at best. The atmosphere reminded me of a McDonald's or a Wendy's. Not loud, but in the background playing was country western music. I like country western, but in a Mexican (so called) restaurant? I truly wish them well, but will not return. This is definitely not like the Las Palapas at Leon Springs we used to go to a few years ago. I hope they have maintained a Mexican ambience and their food is still up to par."

"Great Mexican food with wonderful wait service. They have a spacious patio that is dog friendly. Happy to see a favorite Mexican restaurant open in Boerne. They have delicious puffy tacos along with their enchiladas. They will make lower carb accommodations and give grilled veggies instead of beans and rice."
