"Friendly neighborhood spot with tasty Vietnamese food and responsive staff! One of few walkable restaurants in my neighborhood and I like to stop in here from time to time. Classy cafe-like vibes with all the pho I could ever want."
"Been going to V Cafe for about 2 years now and after trying out many Vietnamese spots in the area, this place definitely has some of the best Vietnamese cuisine. A hidden gem and their bun bo hue (spicy beef soup) is delicious."
"Came in again today!!!! It's still so good and the staff is so sweet. Please come try this shop. Whenever the allergies are getting to you. The broth clears it up!! Fixing to be cold in the next couple of days. Perfect timing!!! You have to try it!! Their Pho, Steamed buns, and Bahn Mi are amazing. They are always so nice and the service is great even when they are busy. They have great tea too. Today we tried the fried dumplings and they were very fresh, hot, and yummy."
"Review is for take-out via GrubHub. Nut allergy friendly for the dishes I ordered. We ordered the bun bo hue with extra noodle and the pho dac biet (special) with extra noodle. I did not see any bun bo hue extra noodles when we got home unfortunately. The extra pho noodles were clearly in another container, as the main containers have the noodles under the vegetables. Highly suggest heating the broth to near boiling to cook the meat enough if you are driving 10 or more minutes away. Otherwise you risk eating raw beef. Normal for any take out pho. The portions were excellent and the flavors were solid. Nice little containers of Sriracha and hoisin provided. I would like to have some lime included. The pho was solid. The bun bo hue was a little thinner and more oily than others I've had, but also was very tasty. I would recommend for scratching the authentic pho itch!"
"This unassuming store-front Vietnamese Cafe offers a great array of dishes. I tried the pork Bao Buns and Spring Rolls. Both were excellent . The buns are soft and immaculately white. They melt into whatever filling you chose as you bite them. The pork was well- marinated and tender. Counter-ordering service was zippy. Austin has great food and V Cafe certainly deserves it's place among the city's awesome food offerings."
