"One of our family's fave spots for a cheap, good meal. Daily specials for food and drinks. Sign up for emails for once free entree per month. Also, the fishing license is a "frequent flyer card" that rewards a free meal after 8 visits. Best fish tacos in town! And, if you're not a fried food fan, you can get grilled fish and vegetables."
"I wanted to try something new for my birthday. Had a taste for seafood, so I searched Google maps and found Flying Fish nearby. We decided to check it out. It is a quaint casual restaurant with a nice fisherman motif. They have a variety of selections on the menu, so it took us a while to decide what to order. There was no wait, and the food came out pretty fast. All I can say is, "Why didn't I find this place sooner?" They have GREAT food! Well seasoned, fresh and delicious. I liked it so much I went back the next day. You've got to try this place. You won't be disappointed!"
"First of all the parking was horrible for a Saturday evening. Even the lot in the back was full. Once inside ordering was easy with such a large well lit menu system. It’s a walk up and order type joint. The food was fresh, great breading, but super bland. None of the food was seasoned enough. I did however like the fact that they weren’t stingy with the cocktail or tartar sauce and there were plenty of condiments on every table. Everything is pretty self serve as far as the tea and condiments. You even walk up and get your own food when your buzzer sounds. Be prepared to answer the tip question after you pay. The minimum amount is 20% and it ranges upwards from there."
"We found this quaint lil' chain of seafood rest's in Little Rock, Ar & were elated to find they have several around DFW. We've eaten at a few here never being disappointed. They are casual & quirky, right up my alley. You are welcomed by the Wall of singing Billy Bass plaques, bring a photo of you & your "big catch" & they'll add it to the rest for all to see. They have a patio outside (if you can stand the heat) or some booths/tables except we moved to a booth bc the chair seats were not very comfortable for me (at this local)& that was perfect. Most importantly the food, it's always been great. The service was great & the place was clean & tidy w/napkins, s/p, sweetener on each table. Our usuals are fried pickles, catfish filets, boiled & fried shrimp, crawfish, gumbo & crab legs. Join the The Grub Club- it's free & you get a coupon every month for a free meal (Bogo). ♿"
