"Wish I could give no stars. I understand McAllen is a border town. If I do not know a lot of Spanish, customer service shouldn’t discriminate. It is really sad for anyone to be treated differently just because they are not bilingual. It’s so uncomfortable to be treated like I don’t belong in the store. I love this stores merch. It just Makes me wonder how do they treat their employees who are not fully bilingual. It’s discouraging to want to shop at this store. No hate, just Pray for ppl who treat ppl like that. Be Kind. Give out good vibes."

"After the pandemic, many retail shops lost manners. And just, honestly, basic ethics. But not this store. I haven't shopped at a Melrose since well before the pandemic. But never shopped at this specific location either. Now I will! The 3 young women I've encountered over the last 2days are just the best. I'm a talkative person and usually I'm ignored. But not these ladies, it's like having a convo with a friend. They greet you as you come in, help you around the store and say goodbye & give thanks as you leave. Some very well rounded young women. I did inform them I was sick with the flu. And they were happy to provide sanitizer. It was my responsibility to have both that and a mask. But they were kind and wore theirs. I'll be more cautious next time. Or stay home til I'm better. Overall it was a great shopping experience. Thanks."

"There are only TWO customers in the store. One was paying but in spite of that, acknowledge the other customer who was me waiting in line. Especially since the lady ahead of me is doing sevetal transactions at one time."
