"Update on some of the best Mexican food in Granbury.....the new dishes that have been introduced are amazing, really! Not only are they delicious with fresh ingredients but they are so artfully presented. It is not only the food that makes Fuego a winner, it is the owner and staff who treat each and every customer like they are a visitor in their home. In today's world it is unusual to have such warm, caring and personalized service. I do not know how they remember but they seem to know each customer by name and the owner is so hands on, from kitchen staff to wait staff, they all appear to be having so much fun! Just love it! Go for the food, then relax and soak in the friendly, homey atmosphere. You won't be disappointed. Great food and service, only had appetizers but they were great and the mango margaritas were made fresh and simply awesome. The chef is newly arrived from Chicago and creating new dishes for the menu.....check it out! Update: Cornhole tournaments on Monday night, karaoke on Wednesday, some great talent! Open mic night here on Saturday! Great music and musicians, definitely needed to come, best entertainment in Granbury, kudos to Cliff Williams, Ron Schaffer and Boodreaux Guitarez.....you guys are awesome!"
"We hadn't tried Fuego yet, but we are glad we did! Everything was delicious! We had street tacos and fajitas. We are picky about our Mexican food. Highly recommend trying this!! All the meat was tender. Service was great!"
"Easy parking and a lot of seating options. We had a big group when we visited on Monday, the service was a bit slow but I think thr size of our party played a role in that, there were missed drink orders and 2 people at my table didnt get their full orders until they asked for it, one person didn't get a side they ordered at all. The food was good, my skirt steak in the burrito was tender and tasted good. One of my tablemates said he thought the chicken fajitas needed more seasoning."
"Some of the worst mexican food I've ever tasted. I forced myself to eat it because I didn't want to bother finding somewhere else to go in this town. Next time I pass through, I'll know not to stop here. When I walked in they were pretty dead and no one was upfront to greet and that should have been an indicator, but I was eager to try something new. Menu was pretty sparse as far as what you'd expect from a Mexican restaurant. I thought I played it safe ordering the chicken enchiladas. They were so dry and practically had no cheese. It was a depressing meal."
"Granted, we are Georgians/Hispanics and are still trying to wrap our minds around Texan Mexican food. But even with that in mind, it’s not great. The chips are definitely store brand, from a bag. Not made in house. Which isn’t the worst thing, I guess. My son ordered a simple beef taco, which came battered and deep fried. I had an empanada, which was the strangest one I’ve ever had. It consisted of thick, deep fried bread stuffed with flavorless beef. The rice was crunchy, with peas and corn and was akin to chewing on legos. And for what we got, it was wildly overpriced. The server and bar tender were so nice, so it really pains me to rain on their establishment. But it simply isn’t good food and certainly not at that price. I’m so sorry! I’ve also never heard of a restaurant charging credit card fees."
