"Family and I came to eddies and I tried the bistro flour tacos. It came with rice and beans. And a drink for less than $10 which is pretty good considering the portion size.y wife said the food tastes homemade. That’s saying a lot from her. I would recommend eating here for authentic Mexican food."
"Had a carne guisada taco. Good flavor and size. The capitotada was awesome."
"I had their caldo de res which was super good! Their tacos are also super big and loaded. Honestly I am glad we have a location now in Edinburg. I was surprised how good the food was. Definitely recommend."
"I forget the name of the tall woman at the counter “Bertha?”, I think. Regardless, she was the best thing at this place. She was kind, patient, and professional. I rate her 5 stars. This store was clean. The employees were clean, but the parking lot is a little difficult to get into with my full sized pick up. The place had approximately 4 customers already eating when we arrived. There was one order placed before and after ours, So the kitchen was not under pressure. We ordered 3 fajita flour tacos and one bistek. The fajita tacos were a little over 4 dollars each. The bisteck was about a dollar less. When the order was brought to our table. I immediately opened one fajita taco and noticed it and the meat filling were barely warm to the touch, and in places cold. The kitchen is literally 15 feet from our table, and the order came out approximately 5 minutes after we placed it. I brought this to the attention of one of the servers, and she offered to take it back to reheat! I kindly refused her offer. Uh nope. If I want reheated food, I’ll eat at home. I can’t say this was a good first impression from Eddies Tacos, but in their defense, shortly after leaving I looked them up on Google maps and noticed they closed shortly after we left. It turns out Eddies Tacos concentrates on breakfast not lunch or dinner. They served us the last remnants of their breakfast food without heating it up. I spent over 25 dollars for both meals. I’ll come back to Eddies Tacos for breakfast and will revisit my rating, but to say that I am disappointed in the food we were served is an understatement."
"Fajita lunch plate says 3 tacos, but I only made 2 tacos with the 3 tortillas given. For almost 12$ I feel like I didn't get what I paid for. Excellent flavor, I was starving, and I just feel just right with what I ate except I'm still missing the one taco maybe next time."
