"This was always my go-to location when we loved in Edinurg, so I had not been here for about 2 years. We came last week, and it took about 20 minutes to get someone to take our order. We weren't in a rush, and we could tell that they were short staffed since several tables still had not been cleaned. Since it was New Year's Day, it turns out that some people had called in, and there was only ONE employee working. She still did a good job, and another person came to help when we got our food. Kudos to her for still providing good service! I'm sure she was overwhelmed, but she didn't complain or seem annoyed that we were there. Notice that their menus have not been updated. There's a note stating that prices may vary."
"My family and I had dinner here and we were very satisfied when we left. Our server was excellent and friendly. The food was hot and delicious. The salad cold and crunchy. Looking forward to coming back here again."
"None of the doors are handicap accessible. Although there is room for walking aids, it's likely a tight fit. My group of 11 was seated right away at 6:45. It took 15 mins to get our drink order. We waited an hr for the single server to take our food order down (4 delicious medium pizzas: 1 cheese, 1 sausage & 2 pepperoni; 3 kids pizzas; 2 pastas, & 1 order of brownies that took 20 mins). When we arrived, there was a 4 top already seated & clearly agitated awaiting their food. 1 second before we were seated, another 4 top of 3 children & 1 adult were seated. They received their food, ate, & left before we got our order put in. Following us, another table was seated, placed an order & canceled it after a 30 min wait. After them, another party that arrived walked out. My table was not raucous, the kids know how to behave in public, & the ones on their devices use reasonable levels of volume. Other than a game of musical chairs trying to sit by their favorite adults (which there were 6 of), the kids didn't disturb the other patrons. You could see our server was handling the restaurant but was struggling to work the kitchen & lobby (the party of men before us took their tip back, why? It's not the server at fault. It's a managerial issue). The restroom reeked of cat pee for some reason, & there were no fire sprinker heads in it. We received our order at 8:08 & by 8:46, we left. The food is always good, but I'd recommend dining in when there is more kitchen staff."
"The food was good and fresh. The service kind of took long but completely understandable because there was only 2 employees. They had a sign stating they were hiring. There were customers coming in and out, and there was a lunch rush. They had lunch specials ranging from $7.99 to $13.99 all combos included a drink. I. Ordered the personal pepperoni with a side salad and a drink for $7.99. Their side salad was fresh. Overall had a good experience."
"Unsanitary/Gross employee! Went for dinner with my little boy tonight, around 7pm. Only other customers were one table with 4 young girls. The only visible employee, a male, was more interested in chatting with the girls than paying attention to us. After a break in the conversation, he took our order without giving us menus (it isn’t rocket science, cheese pizza and wings, so we ordered. He didn’t write anything down. He promptly went back to chat with the girls until they left. Soon after, he comes running out of the kitchen, asked me if it was a pepperoni or cheese pizza. I replied cheese, and he said an expletive, and ran back to the kitchen. Less than a minute later, he brings my son a pizza which he had obviously picked the pepperoni off with his hands, rather than make a new one. (See photo). We got up and left, won’t be going back. If you order from here, I urge you to pay the restaurant a visit. Take a peek into the kitchen: It is dirty, and the restroom isn’t worthy of a rural truck stop. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else. Maybe a different Hut or even the local pizzerias. Even dominos. Don’t get sick with the junk and horrible food practices at this dump."
