IHOP

"We got to the restaurant they sat us down and waited for over 10 minutes for them to acknowledge us. The waiter's we discussing who was going to help us and the lady said if someone else wanted to help us and she walked away. We still waited until she finally came up but we decided to leave very disappointed."

"So I get that iHOP is typically pretty low quality. So expectations are always low when we come here. Sorry iHOP but it's not your goal to be high quality. Anyway if I come with absolute minimum expectations and I'm still let down, I am going to leave the review. I used to go to Corner Bakery for the higher quality breakfast but even they have become a more expensive version of a low quality breakfast. This IHOP was special today. Brought my kid's cupcake pancakes without the cupcake icing which I feel like it's kind of hard to do that since it's in the name. But wait it gets better. I ordered French toast and received regular white toast with cinnamon sprinkled on it. I had to show the server what French toast was. It's getting harder to find good food and good service but this is not the place. As a former server and bartender for quite a long time, if there's one thing that I know is important it's training. And clearly our server who was brand new got terrible training if any. Be thorough if you come to ihop on university"

Original Buttermilk Short (3 pancakes) $6.50 Kid menu ($6.60) bacon with scrambled eggs. Regular coffee $2.70, orange juice kid $2.30. All prices + Tax + Tips … so add around 23%… Do not forget to join the reward program downloading the app and have already free pancakes on your following visit…"
