Waffle House

"This was the most unfriendly atmosphere I have ever encountered. No one even acknowledged us at the restaurant. There were 5 people in front of us. No one ever acknowledged them either. A person in the line waiting cleaned the tables off and I wiped my own table off. The waitress finally made her way to wait on us. We ordered eggs, toast, sausage and hash browns. The sausage was burnt, eggs were cold, the hash browns were cold. The food was terrible! The table that sat beside us ordered chili they said it was cold and sent it back 3 times. When we went to pay, the cooks were so busy talking to each other we had to track down the waitress to pay the bill. One star is too much. Do not stop here unless you want to be disappointed. Absolutely the worst Waffle House in Texas!! Several people walked out while we were trying to get waited on because they did not get acknowledge either when they entered the restaurant after waiting for 10 minutes. It was like the employees did not care if anyone was waited on or not. Zero stars for this place!"

"Worse Waffle house I have ever been too. Dirty dishes everywhere, not crowded at 4:30 am but took 30 mins to bring us an order of burnt bacon that was sitting out and a burnt piece of ham. The F bombs being dropped by the waitress was annoying. She scratched her blue hair and then handled food. Glad we walked out!"

"Food was great, the service needs improvement. We came in while traveling through. Some customers noticed us waiting, I noticed they weren't eating any longer. Wondering how much longer before they would leave so we can sit, I know the wait staff noticed us also. But, some waitresses kept chatting with the customers who were done eating while glancing our way. Wow, I thought, were off to a good start. So after awhile we sat & ordered. The cooks were busy slinging pans & putting out orders. Our food was good & hot. We paid & left, wondering how some people in customer service can lack situational awareness. Do better Denton!"
