"This local coffee shop excels the national chains. A good indication of this is reflected by its popularity. Every time I have been there, I have seen more people than I typically see at Starbucks and other chain coffee shops. Also, I noticed that most patrons at Kindred are engaged in conversation with others at each table, whereas at the other coffee shops, it seems like there are more people by themselves. It's probably the atmosphere. Kindred has a great coffee selection and interesting pastry items to choose from. If you go, Kathleen does nice latte art."
"I really loved this place and clearly so do the clientele (it was half full in the evening)! Did not feel crowded at all given the ample seating. I ordered my favorite drink, an almond semi sweet my matcha latte and it was delicious. The baristas were very fast and helpful, I was happy to tip them. Great experience all around, I will be returning and taking advantage of their rewards program!!"
"I had the S’mores Latte and it was quite delicious. I would say I go to many coffee bars and normally very welcoming but this one was not so much. I will be back for sure hopefully a more welcoming feel."
"What a gem! I only wish it was less well known and had more seating and plugs because it was so crowded that it was hard to find a seat and I needed headphones to get work done But other than that Friendly and personable service Reasonable prices Great latte sizes! Medium is like a large! Got lucky and had a barista make beautiful latte art for my friend and I Good lattes! I prefer sweeter lattes so I needed tad bit more syrup but super tasty! I would definitely recommend!!"
"We stopped in for a couple of lattes around 4:30 on Saturday afternoon. The shop was pretty busy, but we were immediately greeted and asked for our order. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were pleased with the unique latte flavors available and the wide variety of snacks. We ordered a Fireside Latte, a Funnel Cake Latte, and a lemon bar. All three were nicely presented and delicious. Additionally, we loved the modern and cozy ambience and chill vibes. There is a wide variety of seating as well. I highly recommend Kindred to anyone looking for an excellent coffee! We will certainly be back."
