Ivan Lebamoff Reservoir Park

"This park is just south of downtown off Creighton between Lafayette and Clinton streets. It is a great place for family and friends. Awesome place to go sledding in the winter when there is a great snow cover !!! There are great seating amenities with park benches and picnic tables with trees surrounding great for picnic in the summer. It overlooks a nice pond which I have even seen people fishing in during the summer but have never personally. I have even seen people ice skating on the pond but not sure if it is allowed anymore..If you go late at night during fall winter after all the leaves have fallen, there is a spectacular view of much of the city of fort Wayne from the top of the large Hill on the location. Last time I drove by the location it looked as if the playground equipment may have been upgraded recently at the minimum it has all been repainted for a facelift. I would have to say it's in my top three favorite parks in The Fort"

"Very enjoyable! Park benches, picnic tables with grills, Canadian geese, a hiking trail onto the hill, a walking trail around the huge pond, grass with trees, a playground, and a basketball court! They just need to connect it to Fort Wayne Trails and it'll be amazing!"

"Had a great time here. They have a tree top walk way along the river. There is a really cool playgrand for the kids in all of us. It is also a goid place too walk your dogs as well. If you want you can catch a concert here as well ( just not sure when). So come down too the River and check it out."

"We went sledding tonight, had a blast, but lost the keys to our GMC somewhere on the hill. Gonna have to wait for the next melt off to hopefully find the very expensive SUV keyfob and chipped key. Oops. Regardless, the hill used to be a lot more fun to sled, but they haven't been trimming the brush and scrub trees back and the slopes are limited in downhill runs now, and only a few clean lanes remain. Still a good, even if rather precarious sled hill, though."
