"Serene, clean place to walk and enjoy nature. Facilities are also available to rent for parties and youth groups. So glad a place like this has existed for so many decades in the community and is being taken care of."
"The new Ranger has completely turned this place around. I am so grateful to have this small chunk of beauty in Mishawaka and thrilled to see that it is actually being taken of by someone who cares for the first time in a very long time! Cannot wait to see how else the The Res gets involved with the community."
"This is a beautiful place to go for a walk. It is open to the public, and leashed dogs are welcome. There is network of trails, a lovely little creek, and many places to sit and enjoy nature. There are also buildings to rent, and covered shelters for fun picnic spots."
"Baby shower here recently was my first visit. Pretty large room with on-site kitchen is well worn but still serviceable. Didn't notice lighting in main room so much as it was late morning, early afternoon and don't remember overhead lights being on. Not sure they were, so no idea how bright it could be. Has a huge stone fireplace and building has aged wood interior. Fireplace good backdrop for pics. Fireplace is gas and is said to be operational but was not in use. Lots of windows on one side of building overlooking a small deck, woods and stream. Quite picturesque. Outdoors would be a great spot for pictures, if you could figure out property. I didn't try. Lots of folding tables and chairs available for use and are in great repair. Can't say much about kitchen but it's there, as was the one restroom. Would be good for family reunions, graduation parties, small weddings. Adequate parking for our event, but may be what limits yours."
"Had my bridal shower here this past weekend! It was beautiful as always, and for a great price! Everyone who had never been there before kept talking about how beautiful it was! There was also some decor in a closet that we were able to utilize to spice up the decor we also brought. Highly recommend!!"
