Originally founded in 1920 as a Boy Scout Reservation, it is now owned by the non-profit organization, The Preservation of the Res, Inc. The heavily wooded grounds are habitat to a wide variety of birds, animals, and wildflowers, providing a peaceful and natural oasis in the midst of urban surroundings.
