"Secluded getaway for those with limited time. Good hike. Beautiful. One of my fav spots to go! Update 05/06/2023 It's been 2 years since i last came here and was sadly disappointed. Impossible. Impassable. Due to high water and lots of debris, first time in 10 years that i haven't been able to hike through around to climb up on the bluffs."
"My wife and I decided to check the place out based on reviews and pictures people posted. What no one mentioned is that the trail starts out very easy then gets quite rugged along the creek. The bank is sloped, has loose rocks and is covered with slick leaves. We are both in our 50s and decided to turn back. There are other trails along the creek for people to check out."
"Cedar Bluffs Nature Preserve is one of my favorite nature preserves in Indiana. The large rock bluffs provide for some great scenery and views from the top. Clear Creek runs through the property and is pretty nice creek. The trail is not long but a little rugged in spots. I highly recommend this place."
"Great hiking. If you go with kids they may need help scrambling over the rocks. The view from the bluffs is amazing - particularly at sunset/sunrise!"
"Gradually visiting all of the nature preserves in the state. This one didn't disappoint. It was surprising to find such interesting rock features this close to Bloomington (quarries excluded). It was a nice quick hike on an abnormally warm and clear January day."
