"The place is beautiful and it's come such a long way from when I was a kid. I take my kids there and sometimes just me and the old man just lounge around the lake and listen to music park splash pad swimming beautiful views and it's become a tradition to stop at the ice-cream shop each visit"

"The lake is beautiful! Lots of lawn chairs and picnic tables! Beach area! The place was a hoppin' and a boppin' when we were there! Got ice cream and walked around. There's trails to walk in the wooded areas too."

"There were two open Adirondack chairs right by the water. We had to have sat there for about an hour enjoying the light breeze, the sound of the water, as well as the company of two ducks that decided to come and lay down next to us for a nap. It was the perfect ending to an afternoon of shopping."

"Just wanted to go somewhere not too far from home and enjoy the day. We had about an hour and a half Drive and it was so relaxing to see everybody out of the park having good floating on the river. Plan on going back in fall to get fall colors of pictures."
