"Took the kids for an impromptu homeschool field trip earlier today and had a great experience. Since it was a weekday, my four kids (ages 1 1/2 to 7) had a private tour. The kids all really enjoyed it, even the baby didn’t get bored. It was very interesting to see the old buildings and equipment including the cheese making equipment and cider press. The kids really enjoyed ringing the (original) school bell. Also, it’s very reasonably priced and kids under 7 are free. Would recommend for anyone interested in history, but for homeschool families in particular it makes a great weekday outing this time of year."

"Kiddo had a field trip yesterday and even spending 9-2 there we only did half of what they had to offer! Seeing all the old history, being able to do the interactions, hearing all about how life was lived so long ago.... highly recommend stopping by either the festival or the guided tours. We want to go back and see if we can get to do all the stuff we didn't get to before. For sure going to attend next year as well!"
