"Open 7AM - 7PM, The Baltimore Basilica is open to the Public. A part of History I pray is never forgotten. JVATALARO"
"A completely free opportunity to look at beautiful pieces of art that're centuries old? Sign me up! Despite its many remodelings, things came full circle and it's finally a beacon of neoclassical architecture once more. Outside is the hustle and bustle of Baltimore, but inside is quiet, serene, and sanctified. Be sure to visit the basement as well!"
"We came from Miami just for a weekend and because God is great we found this wonderful architecture, thanks to Alex, the security guard who works there, he showed us where we should visit and gave us some interesting information"
"Went site seeing and The Baltimore Basilica was a great place I found to walk around in and look over! It's big, can definitely support a large congregation and is not only clean and easy to move around in, but very pleasantly atmospheric and pretty all around! There are multiple levels to, woth the underground having an interesting old crypt like feel to it that is just very neat, while the top most section is ornate and a cool mix of old and modern architecture! I wish I could comment on people working there BUT, I don't think any of the holy 0eople or guides were there so I cannot comment on either! My only gripe with anything is they DID have some construction going on which made it impossible to get through the front door, but aside from that? You can't really go wrong with a free to visit awesome place like the Baltimore Basilica and I highly recommend it for people wanting a nice walk through in one of the US' oldest well kept religious buildings! Pictures and videos are of the outside and inside of the building and its multiple levels of ornate grandeur!"
"Gorgeous Catholic Basilica. I stopped by on Sunday after service to pray in private and to take photos. The Basilica offers so much history and the building itself is gorgeous inside and out. There’s no admissions fee and they were welcoming to walk ins."
