"If you are passionate about community and backyard gardening, you will find the Filbert Street Garden fascinating! I attended a Baltimore City sponsored composting class there which was informative and engaging. I highly recommend the class! The surprise was the garden itself. On display were an assortment of gardening methods suitable for the novice to the experienced gardener. Additionally, there were a variety of chickens, ducks goats and other small farm animals which klds would find delightful! Lastly, I fortunately arrived at the end of a seminar on harvesting and caring for fruit trees. I had the pleasure of enjoying one of the freshest and sweetest peaches I've ever eaten!"

"So I've actually never been inside, but we walk our dog by here every day. Every single person we've met who volunteers their time here is so kind, and obviously very passionate. We love that there's a food pantry and free little library, which showcases their love for the community. It's a cute spot to take your kids and feed goats!"
