"And herein lies the problem with progress. A member of some town board might say, "Do we expand the town and build new useable homes and businesses, or do we keep things the way they are?" I moved here 28 years ago and am unfamiliar with any kind of previous history from years past. I certainly don't like how more homes are being put in, in the surrounding townships. Wish people would get animated about that because it's going to bring more crime to the area. Developers are coming in and buying up all this land and turning it into developments and no one sees a problem with that? That's been my main concern for the last 15 years now. More homes = more crime and it will affect you. If it was me I'd be more worried about that and how to tell these housing developers we don't need more homes to destroy what we have."

"A beautiful house that is 275 yrs old that Rutter's wants to demolish for something modern that we don't need. As if we need another gas station, fast food place,etc. How can we preserve history when this modern living has no appreciation for our past? Very disappointed with Rutter's. Lost my business."
