"After assuring me that ductwork for a range hood would be installed sraight up through the roof unless trusses in the attic were in the way, they installed three bends. even though nothing was impeding installation of a straight pipe. When I asked Dennis why he hadn't asked me about doing exactly what he had told me he wouldn't, he ignored me, repeatedly saying, "It's the way we've always done it!" During the estimate, he had assured me he could install a roof cap I wanted, but installed another kind without notifying me. When I spoke to David Mize, who told me he was corporate, he screamed at me, actually saying that what I wanted didn't matter, that the bends in the duct pipe didn't matter, and what I wanted didn't matter, that everything was installed perfectly! DO NOT HIRE ANYONE FROM MASTERS HEATING AND COOLING! What you want doesn't matter to them--they lied when they told me they could install what I wanted, then viciously attacked me when I was unhappy that they installed something else without notifying me about it. Screaming at a customer about the fact that they know what they are doing, sneeringly questioning me, saying, "Oh, you do research?" is not any kind of good business practice--it is abuse."
