"Staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall the place was clean , especially for the amount of cats they take care of. We will likely be adopting a cat from them."
"I really can't give it a rating as far as going in or seeing too much of anything. Didn't get to talk to anyone nobody didn't answer the phone nobody came outside when we were sitting in the driveway and I was afraid to go to the door. But it looks bad from the outside. I went there to donate some money in the name of my deceased friends. She spoke highly of the place years ago it looks pretty run down. I saw one cat out there running in the pen well I ain't going to say running it was moving slow and easy and it looked bad. I don't think I would want to put a cat in there if I was trying to save its life. Sorry but I can only say what I saw and it looks run down."
"Just 26 hrs after we got Pepper home he’s got the run of the house, met all his dog and cat sisters and brother and has ended up in my lap! I’m over the moon. He’s adjusted so quickly and I give most of those props to his foster mom who loved him before me. I hugged her before we left but want to thank her again the good work she does. Thank you so much. He will be loved beyond belief for the rest of his life! My life will be so much richer."
"Overall OK but needs work. They don't seem to want my help there and also the living conditions for the cats are not too great. It's an old building with mold which is unhealthy for both people and animals. It's not well located so they don't get that many adoptions. The cats don't seem to be use to people in the non feral section. So mostly building issues though but needs major overhauls to be considered OK. I wouldn't give my cats there. They are no kill shelter that's the positive thing I can say for them."
"There is no animal shelter better than this one! Pam and Harry, the two kind people who started it, truly love the animals. They are responsible for four shelters: the main shelter, the kitten nursery, the feral barn, and the FIV kitty shelter (aka Harry's House). Every kitty is free range, meaning animals are cage free unless they are sick or new. The main shelter has many adorable adult kitties up for adoption. The kitten nursery is for tiny kittens, sometimes even newborns and their moms. The feral barn is unique because these kitties are all ferals treated to cat food, fans, heat when needed, water, vet care. They live in a barn and are allowed to hunt, play, and do whatever on plenty of fenced in for safety land. Harry's House is a safe place for sick kitties, FIV positive, etc. The volunteers are amazing, and everyone cares so much about the kitties that the kitties dont realize they are not in a home."
