"I got my new glasses and found they were to strong. I was told to wear them for 2 weeks and see if they’d be ok. I had several appointments for a surgeon but found out nothing would help my vision in the left eye. So went back for a recheck and then was told no guarantee now since it was over 90 days. I spent $650.00 and now I can’t wear them. Very disappointed!!"
"By far the worst customer experience I have had at an eye care center. I brought my Oakley frames in approximately 3 weeks ago to have new lenses ordered. They took "drawings" of my lenses and sent out to have new ones made. When it came time to have my lenses put in, I gave the individual my frames to have them put the lenses in. The individual helping me returned the frames and tried to say my frames had started cracking and said it was prior to them touching the frames. This was never mentioned when I initially came in to order the lenses in which she handled at that time and inspected. Why would you order my lenses if this was true? She took the frames "back to the lab" to try and have them put the lenses in. She returned the frames back to me with the new lenses, but now the frames showed clear stress fractures in multiple spots. She proceeded to tell me that Oakley plastic frames are not meant to be re-used to have new lenses put in that this is what happens. I have used various Oakley plastic prescription frames since I first started wearing glasses nearly 10 years ago, and have had multiple lenses replaced and never once had to replace a pair of frames due to them breaking from installing new lenses. Never once has it been mentioned that Oakley plastic prescription frames are not meant to be re-used."
"If there is zero star, I will rate zero star. Extremely slow to make the glass. They did not provide correct prescription and made a wrong glass. After asking them to remake and being told they put my glass in the acceleration order, I have waited for two weeks. After a call, I was told they still need 2 weeks to make the glass. So in total, they took 6 weeks to make a simple glass. And I still do not know if they can make it correct. Terrible experience. And update on Aug.15. I called to contact the director. She told me she would call back after she communicates with their lab. Then no response anymore."
"We showed up less than 15 minutes late because there was an accident on 65. When I left my house, I would have been 15 minutes early for the appointment. By time traffic was cleared, I was less than 15 minutes late. I called to let them know before my appointment that I was going to be late. I don’t think the receptionist ever let the doctor know, and there was no grace for this whatsoever. I drove an hour with two kids in the car just to be told once I got there that they can’t see me today. I have never seen a doctor so unwilling to work around patients lives. It was just a follow up appointment surely the doctor could’ve found 10 minutes in her day to get us seen. But no, I was told I would have to reschedule. We are going to find a different doctor. I’m not going to drive another hour with two kids in the car just because I was less than 15 minutes late and my appointment got canceled. I made sure to communicate with the office what was going on, and they did not care at all. There is no grace for something entirely outside my control. You work with children, things happen outside a parents control ALL the time."
"This will be my last time using Evans Piggott & Finney’s service. After being placed on hold for 30 minutes, I received a call back from the operation manager stating that they couldn’t do anything for me after several times of visiting their facility for mistakes they made at their lab (the lenses weren’t properly inspected). The manager told me to come in, drop the glasses off, and told me that they would rather give me a refund because they choose not to fix the problem. The problem is a simple measurement correction. She basically told me to return the glasses, and go elsewhere! After wasting my time making trips up there, waiting several times for an optician and even weeks without my glasses… Now, I have to be without glasses because they rather lose a loyal customer over a simple fix. It will take me several weeks to find another eye care facility, and months to receive my refund from my insurance company. In other words, they prefer to screw their customers than helping them. Bad customer service on their part… But if you have a lot of customers, I guess that’s okay. Please beware of this business. Most of the actual reviews are hidden."
