Prices are quite acceptable; payout for precious metals is easy, based on spot less the usual fee charged by all exchanges (no taxes, etc.) and you have a choice of cash or check, probably depending on amount you bring in. I sold an ounce of gold 10/23 and received cash for it. Jewelry designer and maker on premises certain days. My nephew purchases estate jewelry often here when he finds something he knows his wife would like. He himself is a fine timepiece kind of guy, and buys select pieces here as well. All in all I have found Midwest a very reliable, stable, fair and knowledgeable and trustworthy merchant, especially if you are new to PM or collecting.
