"Do NOT hire her! Absolutely the most unprofessional, unresponsive crook I have dealt with. Never responded to any of my emails simply inquiring what, if anything, has she done - because she did absolutely NOTHING for me for OVER 1 yr! Didn't reach out to the courts/officials OR make ANY attempt. Never followed up with me - I CONSTANTLY had to beg her for some updates, action... anything! ZERO ACTION and a MULTITUDE OF EXCUSES! Finally asked for our money after 1 year+ of NOTHING being done - and... she wouldn't reply back! My husband then emailed her threatening to have her investigated and she PROMPTLY responded then! Imagine that. But only willing to give us back 1/2 of our money!!!! Unbelievable! Not professional. 100% unreliable and very rude."

Information I should be able to get from the Boone Co. prosecutor for free, but refused. Smith won't return my phone calls. I firmly believe that Debbie Smith was told by the prosecutor to stonewall me as well. If a lawyer is told by an elected Boone County official to throw a client under the bus and she does it, Debbie Smith she be disbarred or the very lease, disciplined by the Indiana Bar Association. She threw me under the bus in 1998, refused a vital witness for an important case and lost. She threw her client under the bus and threw the case."

"Do yourself a favor drop Ms Smith as a lawyer, years ago she represented me in a child support case.:I was in arrears due to inability to work. I applied for federal disability. Was granted disability prior to my sentencing to prison. Ms- Smith had access to this information yet never presented this information at the trial. Why? Do you want such a person representing you. I think not. Do the smart thing seek get another lawyer to represent you. If not you may end up in prison like I did for no reason. I believe Ms Smith was pressured by an influential Boone County government official. Now I have means to sue Ms. Smith. I repeat get a new lawyer before she buckles on local Boone County pressure and you end up serving time unnecessarily. My law team has begun to request the Indiana Bar disbar Ms Smith. Again do want a lawyer, one the State bar association will investigate."
