"Ordered a fridge and had a scheduled delivery set up on a Saturday. Get a text Thursday before saying they’ll be there Friday between 9-1 and we would get a 30 minute courtesy call when they’re on their way. Text comes after 1 letting us check where they’re at on the route. My husband checked and it said they’re on their way. No call. Ten minutes later my husband gets a call saying they are there. They wouldn’t wait for 15 minutes for us to get home to accept delivery for product they switched delivery days and didn’t give us a proper 30 minutes courtesy call. We are now canceling our fridge order and buying it somewhere else. Don’t even want to deal with this delivery service again. Home Depot lost a sale."
"I would give zero stars if possible for this experience; but let's continue to see how the story ends. I bought an appliance package from Home Depot two weeks ago. Our refrigerator was "delivered" yesterday to our outside side patio. The company employees said, they could not move the fridge in because they could not take off the door frame. My partner and I said no problem we will do it since we are remodeling anyways. They then told us to "just buy a different fridge." That was out of the question seeing we have three boys to feed and we are not in the market for a smaller fridge. They said, fine we will come back and install it after you remove the door frame. Needless to say no one ever came back, management said they would be here at 7p that day, no one showed. They also said they could not come and pick it up until 6/28.... thats 9 days outside for a 2K dollar refrigerator to sit-outside. Oh and it rained last night. lol. Stay tuned for the update from Home Depot, since this is what HOME DEPOT uses for delivery. Maybe dont buy appliances from home depot either."
"They delivered and installed our washer and dryer, but forgot the final step of dropping the outflow hose into the drain. Honestly, that's not a huge issue. My wife came home minutes after they left and we caught the mess early so that there was only a few gallons of water on the floor. Put the hose in the drain with a zip tie and cleaned up the water all before they called us back. The 1 star is for the after the fact follow up. We lodged a claim because the washer caused two small tears in the wet linoleum while we were getting under and around it to clean up the water. We have the extra material in the basement, there's no damage to the flooring underneath. All we wanted is some acknowledgement of fault and guys to come move our machines so we can relay the flooring. Instead we have had our calls dodged, emails not returned, and it is under the statement "you indicated the damage was from you moving the appliances, therefore it is not our responsibility." This is truly a disappointing affair. Esther was very kind on the phone and seemed to genuinely want to help. Unfortunately, she seems to work for a company that has chosen strict policy over customer satisfaction and common decency."
"I wish I could give them 0 stars. I never post reviews because mistakes happen but this company has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve ever experienced. We had a scheduled delivery this morning. I missed the call notifying me that they’d be at my house within 30 minutes. I called back within five minutes of the missed call and the driver was rude and bluntly told me my delivery would have to be rescheduled because I was too late to respond and he hung up on me. He also lied and said he had been at our house already. I have been home all morning and we have security cameras to confirm that he was never at our house. I tried contacting the customer service center just to be told they can’t help us and I was hung up on again. I then tried the local hub with no explanation or confirmation other than the driver won’t answer his phone and our delivery will have to be rescheduled with no idea when we will get our equipment."
"Save yourself a headache and just rent your own truck. It's way easier to carry your own fridge up the stairs than dealing with XPO Logistics. This company does not work with the customer. Speaking with the representatives on multiple occasions to get a refrigerator delivered, they were unable to accommodate mine and my wife's working schedule. They claim they have no control or "pull" to pick times. How ridiculous? How can a delivery company NOT work with customers to find out when THEY are free for delivery? Anyways - was told they would work to accommodate our request by asking the scheduler if they could put our delivery toward the end of the day - as close to 5PM as possible. What happened? I get a call that says our delivery will be out between 7am and 11am... not even close to the time we discussed. What's most frustrating is my wife and I had one of us home for a specific day we chose when we ordered our fridge. When we found out our fridge was not available to be delivered that day, it's been one giant headache after the next."
