"Phenomenal experience! I will always bring my girl here. They are really great with loving on our fur babies and tolerating many dogs at a time. Grace is the only name at the top of my head right now, but she is really great with my girl. The entire staff team are absolutely amazing. Clean, calm, and friendly environment always."
"We are very saddened to have to write this review on Barkerfellas West location.. We have had some issues over the 2 years time in which our two English bulldogs have gone to daycare and stayed overnight at the west location. Some of the issues are minor, such as not having all their items when we pick them up from “camp” as this has happened on multiple occasions, but some Issues were on a much more Troublesome! Causing my 1.5-year-old English bulldog have a very traumatic vet visit and causing her pain. There was often confusion when we would pick them up and things would get lost by staff members, which considering they have a turnover in their staff that was to be expected in someways, but not OK. And now we found out the bigger truth of the care of our two English bulldogs. Upon dropping our female dog off on 31st December And picking her up the following Sat, we were given one phone call saying she had a slight amount of blood in her urine and would be monitored. We were told she would She was doing OK, and no other blood was found in the urine until the day we picked her up. I was showed a picture of puddle of pee on a floor with a giant blood clot in it, After taking her home, and contacting the veterinarian We were told to take her to her veterinarian as soon as possible, which was today, Monday morning 9 AM. We took her to veterinarian and she was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection, which the veterinarian said she got in camp from sitting in her own urine for too long and not being wiped properly. We have given every instruction to every single member of that staff regarding our dogs care, and we find out it was ignored, causing our dog to have a severe urinary tract infection, which has to be treated very aggressively, in addition, when picking up my male bulldog, he was given to us he had poop hanging off of him and dry poop on his bum, which again the staff was given the information to wipe his bum every single time. He goes potty because he is an English bulldog and cannot reach himself to clean. We made sure to leave every single item Our dogs needed to be cared for properly, too very large bags Full of care items. We were also given his blanket back and said they didn’t have time to wash it and it was soaked in urine as well as his teddy bear so I wonder how long he sat in his own urine and a very dirty area as well. The neglect this time is not going to be overlooked. I called barkerfellas and requested to speak to the manager. I then spoke with Ingrid and she stated That she would speak to the staff and other management and see what can be done. I called after the vet visit to give Ingrid the diagnosis and what the veterinarian said and was told. that there wasn’t anything they could do with the vet bill because it was not something that happened at camp??!! Well the veterinarian disagrees with that and is a Professional veterinarian, and has no personal attachment to Barkerfellas and no reason to lie to us! Also we simply said we didn’t feel it was fair to pay the almost $600 bill for the care when our dogs, did not receive the care. We were told we would get a “complementary bath” and that was a slap in the face In addition to the veterinarian visit, trauma and pain, my dog suffered And is suffering. I then told Ingrid that I was not interested in a complementary bath and that our dogs would not be coming back, and I am contacting an attorney and necessary agencies to investigate neglect. I am very worried about neglect. Our family members/fur kids were left here and we feel they’ve been neglected and now we’re even thinking they may have been neglected in the past as well. Very very sad. I write this, not as a personal attack against Barkerfellas in any way shape or form, but other pet parents need to know what is happening at Barkerfellas West. We tried to rectify the situation with barkerfellas and this is not retaliation for non-rectification of the situation. This is letting everyone know care was given. and they can make their own judgment, based on this fact."
"Left my dog over night for 2 days and this is what I’ve been dealing with since then.. and I’m upset because I’ve been with this daycare for almost a year! But I normally attend the one on cooperation drive but i decided to try this location and I regret it so much. My dog is currently on antibiotics from whatever he caught at this day care"
"Was so happy with our experience. We boarded my baby there and they were very caring, watchful, and loving to her. Being able to watch her through the camera, and see her have so much fun in the daycare while we were gone made it easier to relax. 10/10 highly recommend"
"DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET HERE!!! This poor baby was left covered in feces inside a kennel that was also covered in feces and very few employees cared. If you must leave your baby with someone find a more reputable place to leave them. Don't let them be neglected the entire time they're there."
