Reviews
"Really nice people to work with. No matter which THSB I visit. People are really very NICE....."
"Very unprofessional Trust department. If you want your wishes for your future assets and loved ones don't expect they follow your wishes. Nothing but issues 10 years after mother passed still no resolution. Now in court with them. Not in your beneficiary best interest, nor yours. Unprofessional, teeter on the laws, and extremely poor conduct."
"Beware! At this outstanding institution, if you want to purchase anything that totals more than $500, you will be required to contact the bank in advance. Oh, and by the way, you will have to contact the bank DURING BUSINESS HOURS. This means that if you want to make a purchase over $500 on a Friday at 6pm, you CANNOT. They will deny the transaction even if you have $2000 in your account. You will be forced to wait until Monday morning at 9AM, when you can call to ask permission to spend your own money. How does this make any sense in 2022??"
"I want to like THSB, and the people on the phone are well trained to be professional, and polite. However, we have run into numerous situations over the years where a problem would occur, we would contact the bank to get it resolved, but no one seemed to know how to fix anything, or what procedure to follow. They aren't terrible, but i can't help feeling like there needs to be a lot more technical training and education for the employees handling problems."
"With all of the limitations of a small town bank combined with the terrible customer service of a national brand, THSB has positioned itself to no longer be my side checking account that I use for online transactions. I know what you are thinking, "big whoop trav," but consider this: next time it could be you or a loved one that has to deal with the sub par service experience. Utilize this bank at your own risk. 1/5 would not recommend, there are better options in Terre Haute."
