"Unbelievable…. So we had to change pediatricians and I came across dr Hensley and I love Hendricks regional so we went for it. We went for my daughters new patient appointment which was also her 6 month checkup. She was extremely rude and seemed snappy so I was thinking that I didn’t like her but that’s not fair to be quick to judge…. So a week later we have to go back because my daughter is sick and I wanted to make sure she was 100% okay because she was sick earlier this month and my mom instincts knew my daughter needed to be seen. She didn’t even spend 5 mins with us and seemed like we were a bother to her. She also talked down to me as if she was better than me or if I was a child. She made a comment about my child having dirty ears and that she couldn’t see around all the ear wax but never gave me an answer on if they looked okay or not. So whatever dr says she’s “fine” and to use a humidifier, elevate her crib mattress….., and to suction the mucus out. So two days later I call and tell them I’ve done all of that and she’s getting worse, her breathing is off and is there anything else we can do. They straight up told me no but we can make an appointment in a couple days if she doesn’t improve. UM I’m sorry but no if she doesn’t improve we will be going to the ER and that’s just what we ended up having to do tonight. Turns out she has an ear infection which makes sense why she whimpered while I was cleaning her ears after her bath the night before her appointment with dr Hensley… I am beyond livid!!!!! It is now 4 days after we have seen her and my poor 6m old daughter has been suffering because of a doctor who didn’t want to take the time to actually look at her ears. Ugh 2 appointments with this woman and we are off to find another new pediatrician"

"Doctor Hensley has been our pediatrician since the day my son was born over 13 years ago. I have never been unhappy with a visit. She is to the point, does not over prescribe and she usually knows when the kids are trying to pull one over on us. I now have 3 that see her and we love it there!"

"We have seen Dr. Hensley for SIXTEEN years. We have been nothing but impressed with her conservative stance on antibiotics. She is very forthcoming when addressing my children's need and doesn't mince words, which I totally appreciate. If you want a doctor who really knows your child and doesn't worry about what you may think of her because she does what is best for YOUR CHILD, she is your doc."

"We took our daughter here for a short time when she was around 2. We started out liking the place, they usually had available spots and they where friendly enough. As my daughter got sick into the winter we would bring her in, the Dr would do close to nothing on an exam and always just give antibiotics. Over the years I have done a lot of reading and asked other doctors about illness and ways to handle them and found that Dr Hensley was doing close to everything wrong. She would give antibiotics even when times it is most likely the Flu and not bacterial and would not give good advice I have received from other doctors since her on how to handle a sick child. The thing that ended up making us move was an day that we scheduled to get our sick 2 year old in and sat there for over an hour and a half waiting for her to come in. I had my sick coughing daughter waiting in a room when I could have had her home. I asked the nurses multiple times and they just said they would check but she is busy. When she finally walked in I tried to politely make it know I didn't appreciate waiting with my sick daughter for over an hour when I made an appointment and her response was "Do you want me to see her or not" with a very angry tone. This was the last time we went there. I would give 2 stars normally based on my experience there but since that last visit I am going to give 1 star for being so callus towards a family with a sick child. I am now with a Dr Burnhardt at IU health and couldn't be happier, he is very intelligent, great with our daughter and always talks to us about any issues we have."
