"During the summer there were horrible rains and quite windy weather. A tree was blown over and hit a power line approximately 500 feet from my house, causing all the electricity in a two block radius ti blow. Duke had the repairs done and the electricity was back on. Thanks guys."

"This has got to be the biggest joke of a power company I have ever heard of. Every year they raise their rates and have never offered any help with my bill. I called last Friday be 17NOV23 giving them notice that my family has hit financial hardship and I can pay a certain amount. Now 5 days after that call my power is shut off with three small children. If you have another choice in an energy provider in the Wabash Valley I highly suggest you go with them STAY WAY FROM DUKE ENERGY"

"1. Ladies on the phone have no customer service skills they will run you in circles with no resolution. 2. Duke energy will LIE to you to get their way, they recently conned me into paying a extra $500 they added to my bill without my knowledge. They charge your electric even if you aren't using it, I had a property with the main turned off and they continued to charge the property the exact same amounts as when it had the power on, they are THIEVES NOBODY LIKES DUKE ENERGY they're known for being DISHONEST they will screw you out of 1000s in deposits they make changes to your account without notifying you HORRIBLE PEOPLE"

"I have about 4 hours of work ahead of me cleaning up after the company contracted to remove trees from the lines. If you cut it you should clean it up and if you remove half of an evergreen you should just take the whole thing. The lack of professionalism is beyond ridiculous."
