"My brother was told he had a small nodule in his lung after having a tumor removed from his esophagus. Doctors said he will keep a close eye on it. He went in every two months until he got no responds from his doctor. So during this time the doctor was being brought out or something like that and my brother went unchecked (even though he called the office and left messages) they finally got in touch with him and when he was checked he was stage 4. He spent weeks in the hospital 4 different doctors and they NEVER communicated about his plan of care. He was given 3-4 months to live if he didn’t do chemotherapy a month goes by and still no chemo. They sent him home with little pain meds. Not enough to keep him comfortable. I called the office several times no answer, no calls back. All my brother asked was to please keep him out of pain. The cancer spread all over and his lung is stuck to his side and back and they don’t make him a priority. As far as I’m concern it’s his fault his cancer got out of control! He didn’t refer him to another doctor just blew him off for 6 months. Should have went to Chicago. Don’t waste time with doctors around here go to the best."
