"It's deplorable. It's abusive: At the door they search every last pocket of your wallet and they threw away some mint pills that I always carry for my breath. I was carrying a bottle of water to take my medication and they threw it in the trash. And their prices inside are abusive. A bottle of water costs five dollars. Otherwise, the ballet is average. Careless dancers and props that must be at least 20 years old. Very unfortunate. It's not even worth the $70 ticket."
"My kids have been dancing and learning here for several years. The studio is professional, the teachers and support staff are phenomenal, and this is the only school you want to go for a true ballet education."
"Indianapolis Ballet's Fringe performance at the Athenaeum was like a buffet! All of the dancers were amazing. Chris Lingner has added some amazing new touches to his already superior partnering skills. Yoshiko shone both in her rendering of "The Swan", especially her arm and head movement. See this company often - they are worth every penny and more."
"I decided to take an Open Session class that is advertised as come anytime, no registration required, so it was a shock when I drove all the way downtown and the classes had been canceled. The classes will pick back up in June, but there is no information online about the more than month long cancellation. The woman behind the counter wasn't apologetic at all about the no notice closure. She said that the canceled them because they were busy."
"Went to an open class and everyone was really nice and helpful! It was a lot of fun and the instructors are excellent!"
