"It’s been a crazy season for sickness! That being said I’m so thankful to this office and the staff that took care of my son on Christmas Eve day when he woke up with an ear infection. The office was closed but they volunteered to come in to see him so we could get a prescription to get him taken care of. So appreciative, we’ve had ups and downs with this office but that really validated that we’re at the right place. Thank you!"

"We made the switch to Preferred Pediatrics in December 2020 after spending 7 very unhappy years with our local pediatrician. It’s a 45 minute drive from our house to the office, but the care we have received during the last 15 months has made up for any distance inconvenience. We see NP Marie Weatherwax and she is just fantastic. She is attentive when I’m voicing concerns, always gives a variety of options for us to talk about/choose, and she has helped us with issues that had been left unresolved by our former pediatrician. Since switching over, my older daughter was finally able to get an ADHD diagnosis/medication and it has given her life a 180. She’s thriving at school, capable of regulating her emotions and communicating with us in a way I wasn’t sure was even possible. During our same-day sick visits, we see the available Dr/NP and have had nothing but great experiences there, too. The nurses are always so patient, kind and calming and we appreciate them so much. And something to note (because I wasn’t impressed at our last office): the waiting room is always tidy and well kept. My girls love the big fish tank and there’s plenty of room to let the toddler walk around while we wait to be called back. There’s a restroom we can use while we’re waiting and also a little toy nook tucked out of the way."

"Very professional and friendly staff. Very nice facility with plenty to do in waiting room for children. You don't have to wait long periods of time waiting for Dr to come to room and listen closely to your comments for your child's needs and provide feedback. I definitely recommend this office to anyone need a pediatric Dr."

"I can not thank them enough for the excellent care they provide! They are always friendly and actually take the time to explain what's going on. My daughter had breathing issues and the first time Karrie Tarter heard it, she immediately took the proper action. My son had lots of ear infections and she took the time to show me what was happening and why he couldn't hear us. After his tube surgery, he's a whole new kid!!! I'm a very over protective parent due to an accident years ago before I had kids and I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!! They are the only ones that I trust my babies with!!! We also had relative placement of our nephew for 13 months and they took amazing care of him too. His mom still takes him and his siblings there because of how great they are. She just sent me a message to me the other day, thanking me for taking him there and connecting her with this amazing doctors office!!"

"The staff taking calls is never friendly! They're short, not helpful, barely utter a goodbye before slamming down the phone. Coming in to the office, no one acknowledges you, the receptionist finally comes around and states she didn't see anyone come in.... When 2 others were behind the counter, saw me and said nothing! The nurses are usually sweet, kind and efficient. On most occasions the wait for the Dr is pretty long (20 min-hour+) once the nurse handles all the prep work."
