"I lived at HighGrove for 2 years in a unit adjacent to Sare Rd. There was noticeable road noise especially during rush hour, plus ambulance/fire sirens were common due to the 2 assisted living homes right next door. The dishwasher was small (we didn’t realize this until we moved in, and this definitely negatively impacted my daily life because we cook a lot). Parking was sometimes not at all available, depending on day and time. Otherwise, garden plots were a lovely perk, nearby walking and park options were great, maintenance was nice and responsive, and in unit noise from neighbors was minimal. Our rent increase after one year was reasonable and office staff were for the most part easy to communicate with."

"I lived here for two years and it was great. My apartment was very nice and communication with the landlords was typically easy and clear. Only minor complaint is that there weren't enough parking spots but that was not a big problem only an inconvenience. Everything else is about as good as you can ask for."

"This was my favorite place to live in Bloomington by far. It sits away from the rest of the town, which can get insane on the weekends because of college students. I loved the fact this place had trails around it. Was wonderful for my dog and I when we lived here for a year. My apartment reminded me of a cute cottage. Renaissance is truly the only great rental group in Bloomington and I’ve had my fair share of neglectful landlords."

"A great place to rent in Bloomington. I’ve lived here for 2.5 years and have never had a problem with noise, whether it be outside or with those living next to me. The neighborhood is very quiet and a great area to take walks or jog. I have never had an issue with maintenance coming in unannounced and am never bothered when they do have to come in to change an air filter or something. The rent definitely isn’t cheap; but considering rent prices for comparable apartments in Bloomington, I think it’s reasonable. I live in a one bedroom and I do wish there was more counter space, but it hasn’t been that much of an issue. Dishwasher is small, but for one person it again isn’t that big of a deal. Other than the occasional stink bug (mainly in the spring and fall), I’ve never had an issue with insects. The building sits along the forest so honestly it’s somewhat expected. The property and landscaping is always well maintained."

"My husband and I have lived here for almost a year now, and we highly appreciate the staff and community very much. All of our neighbors have expressed nothing but kindness and they are always willing to help each other around the building. The staff is nothing but great, and whenever you need something they are highly responsive and provide the best results possible. Can’t complain! Our only issue is the lack of parking at the building on certain nights, but that can be overlooked by the great amenities and positive atmosphere this community provides."
