Lakeland Villa Apartments

"Buildings are of extremely cheap construction, while living here you WILL hear anything your neighbors do above or next to you. That and the maintenance are rather terrible. Our air conditioning has been out for about a week now and they have been VERY uncommunicative about fixing to the point where we don't know what is going on. There will be damage to the floors and carpets when you move in. At least rent is cheap."

"My unit was infested with bed bugs the day I moved in. Corporate woman, conveniently named Karen, told me that it was impossible and I probably brought them in. When I requested the month I paid for back because I was NOT staying there with my ONE YEAR OLD CHILD, she said no because it was safe to stay there because bed bugs aren't dangerous, oh but if I wanted too I could pay almost $2,000 to break my lease. It had been 2 days... Then said she was going to hang up on me for being rude. Not sure how someone would be nice after being told it's okay for their one year old to be bit by bedbugs and they have to just deal with it or fork over more money. A month later and after the apartment was treated, I moved back and I found a single bed bug crawling around my bathroom. Stayed there and spoke to the inspector who was sent. He confirmed the hundreds of eggs I found all over both closet doors in both bedrooms were in fact bed bug eggs. I did not cause a full infestation in the 2 days I lived there and Lakeland villa took no responsibility for it and never gave me any refund of rent or an option to break my lease at no cost. They made the comment when I was moving in that the previous tenants destroyed the place and they had to replace all the flooring and kitchen stove. I fully believe lakeland knew there were bed bugs and just tried to cover it up and get another victim in to steal money from. The only reason I stayed was because I was newly divorced, financially caring for my child myself and couldn't afford $2,000 to break my lease and plus another $1,000+ for a new place. Have a good lawyer if you go here."

"I lived here for about a year (2019-2020) and it was nothing but a positive experience! The garage is big, the unit was clean and updated, and the landlord, Sidney, was super nice. The grounds were kept (which was extremely nice since I had a bottom floor with patio). If I had to move back to Warsaw again short term, this is the place I'd go."

"I needed a short-term lease and this was one of the few apartment complexes in Warsaw that allowed for that. Overall, I had a great experience working with the staff there. I technically rented the apartment site unseen, but was pleased with how clean and well kept the apartment and the complex both were. There is no washer/dryer in the unit, but you have the option of bringing your own electrical ones, which worked great for me. They were understanding and able to accommodate me moving in and out over a weekend when they were not in the office. Overall, I would recommend this place for both short-term and long term lease options."

"The community its self is nice. Safe and clean. But the walls, ceilings and floors are way too thin. Enjoy listening to conversations your upstairs and downstairs neigbours are having at 12am on a weekday. The management won't try and resolving it and instead, tell you to buy a white noise machine to "phase" the conversations out."
