"Literally, the worst ran place I have rented from. Doesn't take care of maintenance and will find every expense they can to charge you after you move out. We have lived here 5 years and they pull all the scummy landlord tactics. Dress up an old ran down building and call it REMODELED and UPDATED when in reality it's painted bathtubs to cover cosmetic damage and knocking pipes. You hear every footstep and every laugh from every neighbor in the whole building. The pool was open for less than 30 days last summer because the health department shut them down and all they did was blame the tenants. My husband had to help save some of the residents of the 157 building because they had second rate contractors in their remodeling and the attic caught fire. 12 families were displaced. Now after all thatthey are raising rent to almost 1700 for a 3 bedroom. I would literally live in my car before I would sign another lease at this place. If I could give zero stars, I would."
"Rent went up $100, claiming it's market rate but is it market rate to a comparable apartment complex? If it was compared to complexes that truly have a "usable" pool, than the answer is no. Just like Summer of 2022, the pool is closed this Summer too. Even if this complex only had 100 apartments leased, that would be $10,000. Isn't that enough to fix or get the pool up and usable? New pricing and getting nothing or having an amenity taken away is just absolutely greedy. Karma is all I can say, what comes around goes around. Perhaps these rate hikes somehow go with the the recent fire? I believe in karma, don't you?"
"I love this place !!! Neighbors are super nice and always helpful!! Maintenance is always on top of everything and Leslie and Meredith are so nice! They are very helpful and fun to talk to !! Couldn’t imagine living at any other apartments it’s very fun and amazing living here !!"
"Rent went up $100, but the level of service is not meeting the same expectations. My sink needed a new tap for the hot water; tap replaced, but I still have no plug for the drain. It's been nearly 3 months since they've been "waiting on supplies." The bathtub was going to be resealed. We removed the shower curtain and cleaned the walls to prepare; they didn't have supplies to complete the job. Hot water pipes in the walls knock every time we use the hot water. Dog poop literally everywhere. To catch someone you have to film it, and half the time we're told "they don't normally leave it.." when it's clearly the same people. Kids running in the halls screaming and slamming doors. Kids on the playground using derogatory language. Kids throwing sticks at one another. Saw a kid literally pull his pants down and pee in a bottle on the playground. Kids on bikes stopping in the road in front of moving cars. Can't yell at anyone, if a verbal altercation happens, both families are kicked out. The pool was opened for less than two weeks before being closed for chemical imbalance; which seems to be a multi-year long trend. It would be nice to actually use the pool we're charged for. Cars sit in the parking lot with flat tires, windows that fall down under the tape. They sit in parking spaces in the front where people park, and not at the end of buildings where there is more space available. One van sat unmoving for 3 months before it was dragged 2 spaces down- into another front space. And a truck was down for 3 weeks before it was finally towed. The staff and maintenance are really friendly! Don't get me wrong. But rent goes up and the service just isn't matching. While rent is cheaper than some places, for the cost of an 850 sf 2 br apartment over $1100, you'd be better off looking into a mobile home and having more space. The staff really are good, but it's annoying paying more in rent when there are uncompleted requests and a locked pool that aren't being managed. And finally, who in the world offers a 11 month, 2 week lease? What happened to 12 months?"
"Aside from maybe a few issues with bugs (would’ve moved above ground floor if I could redo it) Beech Meadows has been amazing. With maintenance requests they are usually pretty good, everything in unit worked great and never really had any issues. The 5 stars however is definitely for the amazing front office. Specifically Leslie has been such an amazing help anytime my girlfriend and I had any issues, specifically with moving out we could not thank them enough for how they handled that with us, definitely will miss having them as our landlords!"
