Summit Urology

"Absolutely worst care I have ever received. I have recurrent utis. And keep getting prescribed antibiotics and sent home from multiple doctors i have seen over the years. I was finally referred to a specialist after I begged to see one from my doctor. Because antibiotics are now not working when I get 1-2 utis a month. You cant get seen by anyone in this town when its a emergency. They schedule you 6 months out. How is that gonna help me when im in a excruciating amount of pain right now? So Summit had a opening. My first appointment there the doctor came in very rude like hes having a bad day. Didnt even care to like be in the room with me. His body language and demanour was horrible. And he asked me why i was there. Well dummy me i thought he would has my file sent over from IU health and thought he read my chart and history. But he didn't even read my chart or file to know my history made me explain everything to him over the last 5 years and he stared at me like a deer in headlights. Like im talking this man stared at me like a creep in headlights. Like you know when you get a weird icky feeling when younare around someone. Well this man was not right. At all the way he starred at me. I was generally considered for my safety and well being being in this room wirh this doctor. So i feel dumb because I thought he would have known my history and im talking to him like so. And then soon found out he has no idea. If im being referred to a doctor why dont they have my chart and records? His plan of action Wanted to put my on more antibiotics and when I refused because that's just gonna ruin my gut bacteria and my immune system he got aggressive and angry. I've already been on antibiotics for months over the years ive been dealing with this why do I want more? How about we find the reasoning this is happening instead of slapping some meds in my face and send me home? I guess that is too precise and logical solution for a doctor that wants to make money at all cost. I wanted to do a scope inside my bladder to see what is going on. Ans i had talked to my primary care about that and i expected that to be the plan of action. He refused and said I'm a healthy young adult. Said their wouldnt be any findings if they did that procedure. Okay you cant find bladder cancer, parasites, what about a bent urethra? You cant find any of that doing that procedure? Oh wait your the urologist and didnt mention any of this to me ? But i mentioned all this to you? Okay? Weird This doctor didnt care what my primary doctor said and made sure to show his dominance as a man and said hes the urologist and he knows. Well you obviously dont if your gonna put me on a medicine that i have already taken and have a severe allergy too and you want to do a 3month course of it. You never even looked at my urine sample results i left there. Or the previous ones on that shows high white blood cells and leucocytes im currently fighting a infection that we dont know where its coming from. You obviously are not well educated and i have no idea where you got your degree or your patient care at? After I challenged him on his thinking he made sure to tell me he's the urologist and he makes the decisons for my health not me. Very dominant aggressive man saying this to me over my health after I have suffered and seen multiple doctors. He closed the file and refused to see me and kicked me out of his office! Do not go to Summit Urology!!!!! If they take this post down because they dont want this ruining their reputation well I will repost this. People need to be aware of this facility and the doctors working here. Summit if you want to have a conversation with me about my experience I've be more than happy to. You didn't bother doing that before you kicked me out of your office the other day though. Also would like to find out this doctors name and his educational experience talk to his supervisor and maybe get with the board of health on this one!"

"The staff set timely appointments at my request. The office person in scheduling really went the extra mile. No, two. My wait was less than 10 min. Dr. Gilley was very approachable."

Dr. Smith was honest, kind, and helpful throughout. The nurses and staff were so kind and treated me like royalty. They knew how I felt and did everything to make me feel 100 about today. I will forever go to them and be grateful for them."
