"Huge duplex loft apartments with tons of space and storage. Did not seem to be noisy on upper floors. Would of liked the unit to be received cleaner and all repairs made prior to move in date. I hope the management company will be accesible and keep the property well maintained."

"It’s in a great location and the apartment are nice and unique. However, truly some of the worst management I’ve experienced!! I just moved in in August and had problems setting up the internet. They recommended that we call the internet service provider, in which we did and they said the issue is within the property. However they are SO slow to resolving maintenance requests. When you call their office, they act like you’re being rude and are inconveniencing them! I don’t know if they treat all college students like this, but it’s basically unacceptable. If they had better management, I’m sure this place would get better reviews."

"Do not pick the apartments that are street side. I made the mistake of taking one that is street side and right above the garage. The apartments themselves are really nice, probably one of the nicer ones in Bloomington. However, occasionally it’s hard to sleep here. My unit is street side and the windows are not the appropriate type to filter out noise. You hear cars passing all night non-stop and the sirens also sometimes all night because they have to pass by the building to get to the questionable part of town south of here. The worst is this waste management system they have. There’s a truck that backs up to the building (right next to your bedroom window) that uses a super loud mechanical rig to pick up individual garbage cans as opposed to a dumpster system. This process takes 30 minutes, and happens multiple times per week. Just insanely loud mechanical noises clanking around right next to the bedrooms. This usually happens right after the sirens in the middle of the night stop so it’s a steady stream of noise all night. Quality interior but when you have exams and you can’t get sleep because there’s so much noise non-stop, makes your question your decision. I tried to get ear plugs and they’re not strong enough and the ones that are, are uncomfortable to sleep in. Not sure if all this is their fault but i wouldn’t have come here if I knew that. Need noise cancelling windows or something and the place would be perfect"

"Midtown Lofts is a great place to reside. It's secure, friendly, the staff is courteous and always provides top notch customer service. Maintenance requests are typically handled in a timely manner, and I've never had an issue with neighbors or the management team. Very understanding and work to ensure you have an enjoyable experience as a community resident."
